This session will guide teachers in using the NSTA-recommended mapping strategy to connect engaging phenomena to standards and instruction. Participants will explore how real-world phenomena can drive student curiosity, questioning, and deeper scientific understanding. Teachers will also dig into curriculum folders to examine the wide range of available resources, including lesson materials, pacing guides, assessments, and support tools that can be used to strengthen science instruction throughout the year.
