Participants will learn about the district’s cultural diversity, the four key focus areas: communication, advocacy, engagement, and newcomer support, and how these efforts nurture the whole child. Attendees will also gain practical tools and strategies to confidently collaborate with families and foster inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Rachel Loftus has a background in teaching mathematics at the high school level. She was previously in the mission field in Guatemala and is now back in the states as an Multilingual Learner teacher. She has been at PVHS for two years as an ML teacher for grades 9-12.
