About me
Hayden Woerner is the assistant principal at Powdersville High School, where she leads instructional initiatives, supports professional learning communities, and works closely with teachers and students to strengthen teaching and learning. She brings over 17 years of experience in education, including roles as an instructional coordinator, testing coordinator, and high school mathematics teacher, and has taught a wide range of courses from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus. Hayden holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from American College of Education, a Master of Education from Anderson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Math Education from Clemson University. A National Board Certified Teacher and former Teacher of the Year, she is passionate about developing teacher leaders, improving instructional practices, and helping schools build strong, collaborative cultures focused on student success.
